The Ferrari 156, which took Phil Hill to the F1 World Driver’s Championship and won the Constructors’ championship in 1961, only has 70HP more than my modern Formula Ford.
I wonder if the slick tires and modern design would make up for the power difference.

Even if you made up for the lack of HP with sticky tires, you’d still be missing an entire Phil Hill.
